Casey Enyeart started running during her college years, after years of playing team sports. She kept running through her 20s and gradually increased her mileage, friends and experiences along the way. She wasn't fast, but she wasn't slow either. She wasn't skinny, but she wasn't large either. She's always been a solid medium runner, both in size and pace. However, in 15 or so years, she always struggled to find comfortable running shorts given her strong, athletic legs. Finally, after giving up the toxic diets and hating her body, she decided it wasn't her body that needed to change, it was the running apparel industry that needed changing. Sure, the elite runners we see on TV and magazines are stick skinny, but that isn't the majority of female runners. There are a few styles of running shorts offered to women and those of us with larger thighs that touch while running often choose the compressions shorts to protect the thighs from chafing. However, these types of shorts come with some other issues since they lack the comfortable lining that loose shorts offer. MDL wants to change that. We want to make shorts that prioritize coverage and comfort as well as storage and sustainability, that will help you feel your best achieving your running goals.
